  • Woodshop: Intermediate Training - Level 2 - Members only

    We will go over intermediate woodshop safety and training on all level 2 equipment. This event is for Pikes Peak Paid Members only for now. We may open it to others once we've established a training curriculum. Please dress accordingly; we will be dealing with dust, noise, glue, and flying wood chips. We will provide basic safety equipment. Please feel free to bring your own safety gear if you so choose. Please donate $25 to cover class consumables. To Pay go to : Link will be added soon. We will cover the following gear: Advanced Tablesaw use, jointer/planer, router table, hand router, electric hand planer, advanced track saw use, etc... NOT COVERED: Level 3 devices -- Wood lathe, Handibot, Digital Router, CNC router, etc... You must have attended the level 1 safety course or have demonstrable experience in wood working in basic tool safety and use.

  • New Member Safety Training

    We are holding a new member Safety & Orientation Class, this is a required event for anyone wishing to have access to the PPM Tesla Lab. We will go over safety and operation of basic equipment (Level 1 equipment) within the space, talk about member etiquette, as well as general safety. After completion, if you have also paid for membership, you will be issued an access card and granted access to the facility. This is it! The final step to becoming a maker! Monthly membership rates: $55 Individual $30 Student $75 Family $175 for a Dedicated Desk If you haven't already, please visit our membership link: https://pikespeakmakerspace.wildapricot.org, select your membership level, and enter the required information. We also ask that you attempt to enter your payment method ahead of time and help save us all some time at the end of the evening :-) !

    We will go over basic woodshop safety and training on all level 1 equipment. This event is for Pikes Peak Paid Members only for now.
