Colo Springs City Re-opens Senior Center with YM Christian Association

Several years back our City Council CLOSED DOWN a decades old SENIOR CENTER, and promised to re-open it as soon as a new building was constructed. While the former Center was closed, they "arranged" to have the local chapter of the Young Mens Christian Association operate a replacement program at various other facilities around town. That GRAND Opening is HERE. ( see the picture above). Make your plans to Attend TODAY. At the same location as before 1514 Hancock Street, 10 am to 2 PM, Friday, August 29.
If you are one of the THOUSANDS of people who had to STOP using the facility and services you had come to depend on, REJOICE. Those TAX supported opportunities are RETURNING.
Bring your happiness, needs and questions to this event. And possibly to one of the Tuesday city council meetings each week Before this Opening Celebration.
