Start your engines! Pinballz Kingdom is hosting a Mario Kart World Tournament on Wednesday, July 1st, and we’re putting your racing skills to the ultimate test. Grab your Nintendo Switch 2 and get ready for an evening of Grand Prix competition, prizes, and arcade fun.
Whether you’re a seasoned first-place finisher or the person who always seems to catch a blue shell at the worst time, this tournament is your chance to prove you’ve got the fastest kart in Texas.
Spots are limited, so RSVP for free to secure yours and line up on the starting grid! Can’t RSVP in time? Walk-ups are welcome to join our wait list at the door, and we’ll fill any open spots as they become available.

Tournament Style
Race your way to victory in our Mario Kart World Tournament, Grand Prix style! Here’s how the competition breaks down:
- Grand Prix Format: Competitors race through a series of Grand Prix cups, earning points based on their finishing position in each race. The racers with the highest point totals advance through the competition.
- Bring Your Own Switch 2: Players must bring their own Nintendo Switch 2 to connect to the tournament. Make sure your console is fully charged and your copy of Mario Kart is updated before you arrive.
- Check-In: RSVP’d players must check in at the front desk by 7:00 PM. Unclaimed spots will be released to the wait list at 7:15 PM.
At the end of the tournament, trophies and prizes will be awarded to the racers who cross the finish line on top.

What You Need to Play
This tournament runs on your hardware. Here’s what to bring and how to get set up:
- Nintendo Switch 2: Bring your own fully charged Nintendo Switch 2. A charger is encouraged in case you need extra juice during the event.
- Mario Kart: Make sure you have Mario Kart installed and updated on your console before arriving.
- Controllers: Use whatever controller setup works best for you. Joy-Cons, Pro Controller, or your go-to racing setup are all welcome.
