What we’re about
LEARN TO WRITE! IMPROVE YOUR WRITING! HAVE FUN!
FOR OVER 35 YEARS, writers have come to Pinellas Writers (founded as PINAWOR, Pinellas Authors & Writers Organization) to improve their craft in a friendly and supportive environment. We host weekly meetings online via Zoom Tuesday evenings from 6 PM to 9 PM ET. We also host in-person meetings once a month, the first Saturday of every month, at the Clearwater campus of Keiser University, off US-19N.
Prospective members can attend three free meetings before joining. The annual membership fee is $30.00.

If you’re a writer or want to explore what’s involved in learning to write, Pinellas Writers is the group for you. Members meet to read their works in progress aloud and accept constructive suggestions.
Our membership includes published and unpublished novelists and poets, plus non-fiction writers. We write in many genres: mainstream, suspense, horror, literary, romance, humor, opinion, historical, and more. We love to write, and we love writers!
