Mapping the Liberal Arts: A Semantic Similarity Approach

The Amherst College Data Science Initiative (https://www.amherst.edu/about/science_at_amherst/data-science-initiative) is organizing a talk about quantifying how college students choose which courses to take. The proposed method uses a semantic similarity approach with neural networks, applied on 17 years of data from Amherst College.
