Mt. Tom Summit Hike (5 to 6 Miles)

Going to hike up to the telecommunications' towers on top of Mt. Tom

General hiking experience required. (members will be screened)

• Moderate/Strenuous for pace and distance.
• Elevation of up to 900+/- feet.
• Start time is 9 am.

Will be summer hiking, water, energy snacks, hat, bug spray, map, anything that you might need while hiking in the woods at a steady consident pace while traversing up the side of a mountain side.

Trail List: Starting at pole #24, hike over to the knox trail, knox ext. trail, quarry trail, middle loop to DOC, then onto the NET. Returning either via the road or the southside of Mt. Tom down the NET and around the reservoir.

Parking: Location is provided in hyperlinks below. Physical Address is : 4 Mt. Park Road, Holyoke MA. No Dogs allowed since this is a public water reservoir.

Directions: There is only one way to reach this meetup and that is via Rt. 5 (Northampton St) Holyoke. A link to directions is provide. Parking is along the street. No parking on bridge. We will meet at the "gate". It's at the end of the road.
