Let's ride Jackrabbit!!

I know this page has been dead since we moved to Chattanooga, but I thought I'd blow the dust off, and invite anyone that is still subscribed to come and ride Jackrabbit. If you've never heard of Jackrabbit, it is 15 miles of fast and flowing singletrack trail, located in Hayesville, NC. The trail is made up of multiple connected loops, and we will be leading a Group Ride of approximately 10 miles on Saturday and Sunday.

We will be arriving on Friday Sept 8th, staying at the Jackrabbit Campground, staying through Sept 10th. Jackrabbit Campground is on Chatuge Lake, and is great for kayaking, swimming, or just floating on a tube. The campground has great tent/RV sites, but no hookups. Come out for the day, or stay for the weekend. Campsite reservations are required @ recreation.gov

This is a social ride. Ride is entirely at your own risk. You assume all responsibility for your own well-being. THIS IS MOUNTAIN BIKING ON MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAILS.

• A mountain bike is required - This is critical as bikes with skinny tires are dangerous on trails. NO SKINNY TIRE BIKES.

• Helmets are REQUIRED(!) and biking gloves and eye protection are highly recommended.

• Please bring your own water, snacks, and a spare inner tube.
