Our Lunar target market is NASA & private space companies who need power on the Moon and are willing to pay a premium for reliable, industrial scale power that they don't need to build themselves.
To fund this Moonshot, we sell variants of our lunar grid components here on Earth, such as best-in-class power converters for military/aerospace applications.
Our competition is also working on space surface power in the market such as Astrobotic, Lockheed Martin, & Honeybee Robotics.
Our competitive advantage is killer power conversion expertise. We provide lowest weight, most efficient, most resilient 200W converters which makes us different because it enables power transmission in the Arctic, down borehole wells, etc. The total market size in 2023 was about $5B.
Top 3 Challenges:
1. Sales - cycle is long & the start is tough with DoD, aerospace, government contractors
2. Growth - we must show competency in manufacturing/operating at scale for larger contract consideration
3. Investor planning - just now figuring out we want to raise investment. Brand new area for us, no skills
