Let's try our hand at pottery! This is technically a date night class, but there were all sorts of groups at the one I went to previously. It was a ton of fun and I've been itching to give it another try. In the class, they teach you the basics and then you make some bowls or whatever you want. You can usually make a few in the two hours allotted and then you'll pick one to keep and they'll glaze it for you.

Couple of IMPORTANT notes!
- You MUST buy your ticket here: https://pittsburghpottery.com/collections/1-day-class/products/date-night-wheel-throwing Be sure to select the October 18 from 4-6 class. They do sell out quickly, so don't dilly dally.
- Be on time. Latecomers delay the instructions and cut into everyone's wheel time, so plan ahead for traffic, parking, walking, etc.
- You will be instructed to go back in two-ish weeks to pick up your finished piece.
- It is BYOB - bring your beverage, an opener, AND a cup. If you want water too, bring it. They didn't have any of that the last time I went.
- I didn't get that messy, but I could see how you easily could. Clay can stain, so don't wear clothes or shoes you'd be sad about ruining. They don't supply aprons.
- Take a look at your fingernails. If you have longer nails, you might find the process to be a little bit of a struggle.
