The next in this series is Subba Asian Restaurant. I'm excited to try Nepali food at this BYOB place on the North Side. The Nepali Thali is featured in many photos and looks plentiful for between $13-$18++ depending on the protein. The momo appetizers also look delicious and the combination of the two looks like it would easily produce enough leftovers for a full lunch the next day. There's no corkage fee on the BYOB. There's also no reservations, so be prepared with a little patience just in case it is busy.

48 hour RSVP applies.

Overview: This series of events will be focused on more budget friendly foodie options. I'm searching out places where quality, creativity, and value go hand in hand. Think foodie finds at food truck prices, big portions that lend to lunch leftovers, BYOB faves, picnic-style options, or kick ass specials that make fancy places a little less wallet busting. You can certainly eat, drink, and spend whatever you want, but the idea is to make it fun to seek out deals and spend a little less.
