Lé Scoop (New Sport) - Armstrong Field (South Side)

As of the time posting this, the weather for Thursday looks great so hopefully we can finally unveil my newest sport: Lé Scoop. It's a homemade version of Lacrosse that uses a toy from childhood mixed with a pvc pipe to make a fast-paced team game with 2 scoring zones and plenty of strategy.

This will be my 5th invented sport since the debut of SaKi back in 2018. I actually ran this sport a handful of times already during the 2nd half of 2024 to test the game's mechanics and come up with rules that worked for everyone.

I'm not going to explain anything else here but we'll spend a bit of time before playing to get everyone up to speed with how it works. Lacrosse experience will definitely be helpful but this game will be easy for just about anyone to pick up. As always, I'll have all the necessary equipment to play. Plan on bringing cleats and sunglasses, though.

On Thursdays at this location there is never free parking so if you park in an area with meters be sure to pay for a few hours.

**Please keep in mind that I run 2 different Meetup groups with this event posted and also have a complete separate text group I message to find people interested in playing with us for ALL of my events. Don't ever let the numbers on this Meetup page alone prevent you from joining us as there is usually at least 3 times that amount actually attending the event.
