Well, we've been trying to play Yoga Ball Soccer for the past month. With intense heat, pop up thunderstorms and everything in between we've been unable to actually play our scheduled activity for the past few weeks. Fingers crossed we finally get to play!

We've had a few successful nights playing Yoga Ball Soccer at Armstrong Field in the South Side so that's where we'll be on Thursday if the weather cooperates. Parking isn't free right next to the field throughout the night so be extra careful if you are near a meter.

For those that have never played it before, we're essentially using a 26 inch yoga ball for soccer.

Basic rules: Dribbling the ball with your feet is the only way to move the ball unless the ball is already in the air. No running with the ball. You can hit the ball with your hands once it is in the air to pass it to a teammate or try to score a goal. No physical contact between players. Cleats are permitted.

Keep in mind that I will have this posted on a few different places as well as sending text messages to a large group of people so don't let the numbers shown be the reason you don't join us. As always, I'll have chairs, drinks, snacks and music. Friends are welcome. Hope to see you there!
