January 2025 C++ Meetup: The Reboot!

Details
After 4 and a half years, we are finally resurrecting the Pittsburgh C++ Meetup! Our first post-pandemic meeting will be on Wednesday, January 22, at 7 PM.
Here's a rough schedule:
- 7:00 PM: Gather, socialize
- 7:30 PM: Presentation
- 8:30 PM: Chat and socialize after the talk
- 9:00 PM: Exit and lights out :)
For the presentation, I'm planning to say a few words about the group itself, and then present my CppCon 2024 talk, "Making Hard Tests Easy: a Case Study from the Motion Planning Domain".
The event will be free: many thanks to our generous sponsor Aurora Innovation for providing the meeting space, and for covering the fee for organizing the group!
Unlike the pre-pandemic times, we won't be providing pizza and beer: we'll need to "get scrappy". :) There are a variety of local establishments where you can grab a quick bite for dinner beforehand. If people are interested in bringing some light snack food to share at the event itself, then let's organize that!
Paid Parking is available in the 1600 Smallman Street garage, which is attached to the building. There is also limited paid parking available at the terminal just across the street, as well as in a lot just to the left of City Winery.
If you have trouble getting into the building, just knock --- people will be close enough to hear. Hope to see you there!
