About us
We are Coro Latinoamericano, established in 1997, in Pittsburgh. We are a community-base choral group that sings in Spanish, English, and a number of other languages (knowledge of Spanish and the other languages is not necessary; neither is the ability to read music). Our mission is to share different music and cultures with the people of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County to build bridges of mutual respect and understanding. We rehearse once a week, on Sundays, from 5:30-7:30pm, at either the First Unitarian Church in Shadyside or at a members' home in Squirrel Hill. Our dues is $25/month, which helps to pay our professional music director. Please consider checking us out and coming for a simple audition.
