Container Security 101 Workshop

Details

Is your company adopting containers but you haven’t had a chance to figure out the best way to secure them yet? In this lab, we get hands-on with containers, learn how to examine them for common mistakes, and then add in some security controls like container image signing, create a Software Bill of Materials, and run vulnerability scans.

This lab will feature self-guided material but will be guided by Jon Zeolla of Seiso.

This is a paid workshop, with all proceeds benefiting Code & Supply. Food will be provided. This event has a minimum required attendance of five paid people. Please pay $50 via https://paypal.me/codeandsupply or contact a host for alternative payment methods, including corporate invoicing for a minimum of four participants. If you're a C&S member at the sustaining level for at least three months of 2023 or a co-working member, this event is free for you!

COVID-19 safety measures

COVID-19 vaccination required
Event will be indoors
C&S requires masks for anyone who is not fully vaccinated. We will have spare masks available if you want one. We ask that you be fully vaccinated unless you cannot for medical reasons. We don't require proof but we expect you will value and respect the safety of your community members. Please do not come if you feel sick or have attended an indoor event with more than 500 people in the preceding 3 days. If you're not sure, please get tested!
The event host is instituting the above safety measures for this event. Meetup is not responsible for ensuring, and will not independently verify, that these precautions are followed.
