Introduction to Prometheus for Metrics Collection & Analysis

Prometheus is an open source solution for metrics collection and analysis that allows for alerts to be triggered from the data. It is a recent addition to the CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation)

At this meetup we're going to talk about how to get started using Prometheus on your own servers, the architectural model of the system, and how to generate useful graphs to track performance of common items like memory/network/cpu.

We will also touch on integrating the system into a dashboard using open source visualization libraries.
