Stay safe out there! Security tips for Ethereum (and crypto in general)

What holds a lot of people back from learning about crypto is fear, and it's not unfounded. Fear is often overcome by its sidekick Greed... but unguided by education, that's a fast road to ruin, slick with tears.

Let's turn away from that broad path to perdition and take the road less traveled. It may be narrow and winding in places, but it leads to much higher ground.

I'll open with some general background on cyber security, then focus on crypto in particular, describing the pros and cons of all the options for storing your tokens, with special emphasis on Ethereum and DeFi. Q & A to follow.

I hope this date and time works for most people. This time I've chosen an evening mid-week, so as not to interfere with weekends, and also mid-month. Hopefully the date is after most holiday parties, and before any travel.
