FMBurgh August Meeting

The agenda for the evening combines a FileMaker Roundtable and a FileMaker Show-n-Tell. Designing and building a Claris FileMaker solution to collect data from various sources is only part of the project. Providing reports (on paper or on screen) that display the data in a meaningful way and allow the user to make informed decisions is just as important, if not more so, to the completion of the project. We will discuss the various reporting options available to us as developers. We'll share helpful tips on features and functions related to reporting to include in your own system as well as the pitfalls to avoid. If you have a cool reporting tool that you've built into a solution, please plan on sharing it as we pass the presenter role around the table.
As is our custom, we will open the floor to general FileMaker discussion at the end of the meeting if time permits so bring your questions. Hopefully, with a room full of Claris FileMaker experts, we’ll have the answers.
