La fête Nationale aka "Bastille Day"

The "Centre Francophone de Pittsburgh" is organizing the 2025 Bastille day on July 12th (Saturday) from 4pm until 9pm.
Les Francofous are invited with a limited participation (+/_ 20). The CFP can easily gather 100+ people during the event.
This year the theme will "1945". 80 years since the end of WWII.
"Hot Swing & Jazz Band Dynamique" will take the stage and make us dance to celebrate V day 1945.

It's a Potluck and Byob. Bring a dish and a bottle to share, as French as you can 😀.
Many activities will punctuate the Day : Pétanque, "Course de Garçon de Café"... Live DJ and music. French will be spoken, but not only.
The event is "family" friendly. There will be alcohol on site.
The CFP doesn't request a membership, a small donation at their events is always welcomed.

It's located in a Park with shelter, plenty of shade and a playground. Access is really simple, 15 min from Downtown, 5 min from the PGH Zoo.
Parking is a little limited. Squeeze your vehicle as tight as possible, park on the nearby street, but don't block the residents driveways. If parked double row (at the park only !!) , leave a visible note with your name and or cell phone to be paged during the event. Carpooling is highly welcomed. No parking on the grass...

Seating is also limited, if you have to, bring your folding chair to be sure.

The location will be revealed after RSVP. Allow me some time to answer, check your message on meet up or make sure to allow meetup to send you the notifications !
You will all have the location by wed 9. RSVP will be closed July 10th.
For now : 1 adult guest per attendant, I will open 15 spots, depending on the number of guests I might extend the list as we go. A waiting list will be opened, don't be shy, it moves fast.
