What we’re about
This group is for anyone learning or wanting the chance to speak Italian with others in person in the Pittsburgh area. All levels are welcome with the idea that those more advanced will have patience with those less experienced.
Events will include:

semi-structured language practice time with prompts/topic provided before we get together so beginners can prepare some things to share and questions to ask others

game night (Scarabeo, for example, is Italian scrabble)

shared meals with time to speak in Italian and ask questions of others related to speaking Italian (Come si dice…?)
Gatherings will not be language courses, though the idea of having a group tutor could be an option.
As your host, I am a beginner with a strong desire to strengthen my conversational ability and meet others who share that desire! Please be open to all levels. If you are a beginner, be pursuing language learning in some way.
