Artist Talk: Jing Sun on Art & Inspiration — Sun, Sep 27, 3:30 PM
Details
An Afternoon with Artist Jing Sun: Art, Inspiration, and the Creative Journey
When was the last time you did something just for yourself? In a world that never slows down, artist Jing Sun found her way back to stillness through watercolor, abstract art, and photography. Her work is full of fresh perspectives — new ways of seeing light in her watercolors, new rhythms in her abstract lines, and a curious eye for everyday moments through her lens.
Join us this Sunday for a one-hour conversation. Jing will share the stories behind her work: where her ideas come from, how her creative habits have grown, and how art has shaped the way she thinks about life.
This is more than a talk; it's a conversation. Bring your questions for the Q&A, or share your own experiences of making and looking at art. No art background needed and no skills required — just come as you are, with your curiosity.
A note on language: we'll be chatting in a relaxed mix of Chinese and English, so it's a great chance to practice in a low-pressure setting. Beginners are more than welcome.
When: Sunday, September 27, 3:30–4:30 PM
Where: CLP Squirrel Hill, Meeting Room B, 5801 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217
Admission: Free — feel free to bring a friend.
Hope to see you there — 周日见!
