This group was created to share events, accomplishments, and other information related to poetry in the Pittsburgh region. Feel free to post info about readings and other poetry events, calls for submissions, book releases, and whatever else might be of interest to poets and poetry lovers of the Pittsburgh region. This group is managed by the Pittsburgh Poetry Collective for promotion of poetry events in the greater Pittsburgh area. Our flagship program is the Steel City Poetry Slam.
If information and ease of access to information regarding future Pittsburgh region poetry events and announcements regarding poetry of all disciplines and styles is important to you, this is where you want to be!!
Multiple venues, multiples types of events. This is about coordination, education, event sharing, etc. Even events on the same night/ time is cool. This a one-stop poetry events around the city shop. Don't get fussy or nit-picky, this is about poetry. Respect to all forms; all styles.
