Come experience brand new live music composed by Pittsburgh musician and composer Joshua Malave, directed by Confluence Ballet Company co-artistic director Adrian Green, and brand new choreography by Elena Cvetkovich, Keeley Hernandez, and Adrian Green.
Our original story ballet is based on a powerful parable from Fyodor Dostoevsky's brilliant philosophical exploration, "The Brothers Karamazov."
"The Onion" tackles the relationship between good and evil and how the consequences of our actions on Earth affect us in the afterlife.
Each show will be followed by a moderated talk-back session with our audience, in which we explore and share our creative process behind this work, as well as the ongoing mission and vision of Confluence Ballet.
