ONLINE Aug, Wed 20: "The Dance of Knowing and Not Knowing"

Details
Last week, Norio Kushi talked about "knowing" and "not knowing".
This week, Gloria would like to investigate with us the movement from one to the other and what emerges from being present to the unknown as "The Dance of Knowing and Not Knowing".
There are many spiritual and philosophical traditions that speak of the existential questions or dilemmas of what or how we know reality, the world, or ourselves.
In Catholic/Christian traditions, mystery is at the heart of the mystical path. In Zen, "beginner's mind" refers to an attitude that encourages an openness to a reality that is unknowable un-graspable, elusive and impermanent. In Existential-Phenomenological philosophy, knowing which is authentic reveals itself over time.
We also experience Intuitive knowing and insight as modes of non-rational knowing coming from diffuse or partial knowing.
There is also the question of the illusory nature of reality.
Which raises the question: Do we know what we think we know?
Questions for the evening:
How do you experience knowing and not knowing?
What are your beliefs about whether you can know the nature of reality?
What path do you prefer, the one of knowledge, the one of being with the mystery, the one of " everything is an illusion" or something else?
