WP Pittsburgh Central: Choose Your Own WP Adventure

Instead of one main presenter, we will have 3 lightning talks (about 10 minutes each) with plenty of time for Q&A and discussion.

What's a lightning talk you may ask? It's really anything - a 10 minute demo of your new favorite plugin, a 10 minute show and tell of a cool new features you implemented, or a 10 minute talk on just about anything WordPress related. Topics across all skill levels are welcome! Even beginners can share what they know to help other beginners.

So, who's going to give these talks? YOU are (we hope!). We invite anyone to pitch a topic by commenting below. At the start of the meeting, all in attendance will vote and determine the topics for the evening.

What happens if we are not picked? We welcome ALL speakers and topics! If we can't get to everyone during this meeting, you are welcome and encouraged to present at a future meeting.

So, we might prepare a talk and then not be picked? Maybe. Please understand that these talks do not need to be formal presentations. You don't need to make slides (unless you want to) and it's ok to present "off the cuff". The goal of this meeting is to have an open discussion about topics that you want to learn about.

How to find us

pair Networks is located at the corner of 24th Street and Sidney Street (off of Carson Street, towards the river) in the River Park Commons Office Building.

Park in any open spot in the lot in front of the building.

Enter the building at the main entrance (there's a sign and it's at the center of the building).

We will have someone at the door to let you in, but if you are running late, use the intercom to call pair Networks (#210) and you'll be buzzed in.

As soon as you enter the lobby, take the stairs (on your right) or elevator (on your left) to the 2nd floor and follow the WordPress signs, to your right, to office #210
