Custom Meta Boxes (CMB2) is not your typical WordPress friendly neighborhood plugin. CMB2 is a powerful user-friendly framework that helps easily manage meta for posts, pages, terms, users, comments, and more.
This session will cover the basics of CMB2 including: installation and setup, creating custom metaboxes in the backend, and outputting to frontend. This session will take your WordPress sites to the next level!
This talk is geared for web developers of all levels, particularly those who are curious or interested in starting to do more development in their WordPress themes. A basic understanding or exposure to PHP is helpful but not necessary for this workshop.
