Festival of Combustion

Hi everyone. The Festival of Combustion is an all day event at the Carrie Blast Furnaces. I have not attended this event before, but it seems like there are lots of activities and things to see. Information about the event can be found here:

I set the meetup time for 5:00, but the event starts at 1:00. It ends at 9:00. I will post in the comments or event chat if I decide to go earlier or later, and I would recommend that anyone going do that as well. I think that if you are not spending all day there, that it would be better to go later in the day when it is darker to get more dramatic photos. Plus, the fireworks will be in the evening.

Tickets are $20 in advance, and $25 at the gate. When you purchase a ticket in advance, additional information is provided including rules and what to expect. But note that there will be food trucks, along with portable bathrooms and wash stations.

I would recommend bringing fast prime lenses if you have them, as well as a tripod if you plan to capture the fireworks.
