PGH Web & Graphic Design July 2022 Meetup @ Federal Galley

Hey, Pittsburgh Designers!

You may notice a few changes have happened to the group. We are now the PGH Web & Graphic Design Meetup Group! Considering how closely web and graphic designers often work, we feel it makes sense to bring them together to make the meetup more robust.

This month's meetup will be in person at Federal Galley in Pittsburgh's Northside neighborhood. If you haven't been to Federal Galley before, they are a cafeteria style bar with a selection of "concept" restaurants to order from. They have ample outdoor seating we can utilize for a group to keep things casual for our first in person meetup since taking over the group.

There will not be much of an itinerary for this meetup. We will start with a round-table where everyone can talk about what they do in the design industry, then move on to an open discussion and networking mixer. Feel free to move around and get to know anyone who stood out to you in the round-table!

*Federal Galley has a cap on groups larger than 15 people before they consider us a "private party". Given the group turnout in the past, we don't anticipate hitting their limit, but if we do we may not be able to stay at one table together.

**Parking in the neighborhood is free if you go up into the Mexican War Streets. Just be respectful to the residents and don't move parking chairs/cones. Limited paid street parking is available around the plaza, and Nova Place where Federal Galley is located in also has a parking garage if you prefer.
