Come learn and shoot the night sky with FUJIFILM for a FREE astrophotography workshop!

Join us on Tuesday, July 7th and Friday, July 10th for a 2-PART virtual and on-site astrophotography workshop. Perfect for all experience levels, this comprehensive workshop blends a foundational virtual pre-session—covering gear preparation, camera setup, and basic astronomy—followed with a hands-on, in-person shooting experience.

Guided step-by-step by FUJIFILM, you will master technical settings and creative framing while finding plenty of room to experiment and refine your skills. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own camera gear, a tripod, a lawn chair, and personal comforts, though all camera systems are welcome and a selection of FUJIFILM gear will be available to borrow.

Come ready to slow down, look up, and create intentional celestial images you cannot make anywhere else.

The Virtual Session - Tuesday July, 7th: 7PM-8:30PM

This virtual session will be hosted by FUJIFILM representatives Hayden and Steph. This session will be a comprehensive guide to mastering night sky and astrophotography. Attendees will learn everything from gear selection, camera settings, composition, and advanced shooting techniques like image stacking. AND MORE!

What You Will Learn:

• Gear Essentials: A breakdown of recommended equipment for the workshop, including key items to bring and any last-minute gear to pick up such as tripods, memory cards, or accessories.
• Planning & Preparation: An overview of how we approach location, timing, and conditions so you know what to expect when we’re on-site.
• Camera Settings Overview: A look at key settings and techniques to help you feel more confident heading into the workshop.
• Workshop Details: Review of meeting location, timing, and overall flow of the in-person session.
• Open Q&A + Group Discussion: Get your questions answered ahead of time. Our team will be available to help, with additional 1:1 guidance provided during the in-person workshop for a more personalized experience.

On-Site Session - Friday, July 10th: 8:30PM (Meetup Time)

Put your new knowledge into practice during a hands-on evening under the stars with FUJIFILM and fellow photography enthusiasts in a supportive, collaborative environment.

What to Expect On-Location:

• FUJIFILM Loaner Gear: Access to premium FUJIFILM camera bodies and fast, wide-angle prime lenses perfectly suited for gathering starlight.
• Expert Guidance: On-site assistance to help you fine-tune your shooting approach, adjust manual exposures, and navigate the pitch-black conditions.

🔭 What to bring:

• Your Setup: Any mirrorless or DSLR camera with manual exposure mode controls, a wide lens and a sturdy tripod. (All camera brands are welcome!)
• Memory Cards & Batteries: Bring a fast, formatted SD card (especially if you plan to try out FUJIFILM loaner gear) and at least one fully charged spare battery.
• Comfort Items: A headlamp or flashlight, warm layers/clothing appropriate for nighttime temperatures, sturdy footwear, and your favorite snacks/water.
