What is a Game Jam?
A game jam is a free event for developers to team up and create a game in just 48 hours. A theme will be announced on the first day, and teams will be formed (or go it alone!) to plan and create a game from scratch! Rapid prototyping and embracing the jank* is recommended!
(*It doesn’t have to be any good.)

When does it start?
The weekend of 8th, 9th & 10th April 2022.

Who can take part?
Anyone over 18 with a passion for games development – Code Monkeys, Sound Designers, Game Designers and Digital Artists all welcome.
Under 18, look out for one of our events for you soon.

Do I have to make a game?
Nope! If you want to specialise in your skillset – you can create your piece to follow the theme. Want to create a soundtrack or concept art? Go for it! It is taking part that counts.

What do I need?
Bring your own kit if you have it; if not, we have Macs running Unity, Affinity Designer, Garageband/Logic. Snacks recommended.
