Comic & Manga Reading Lounge

This is a low-pressure, casual hangout for adults of all genders who enjoy comics, manga, anime, games, and nerd culture.
Bring whatever you’re currently reading — manga, comics, graphic novels, or even just come to hang out and talk. We’ll spend some time quietly reading, then casually chatting and sharing recommendations if people feel like it.
There’s no required reading, no prep, and no pressure to be social the entire time. This meetup is meant to be relaxed, welcoming, and easy to drop into — especially for introverts.
What to expect:

• No skill level or fandom knowledge required
• Come for the whole time or just part of it

This event is free to attend at no cost to you. I'm not a vendor, I don't need people to throw money at me. However, spots are limited to 10 for this event and will fill up fast.

Note: If you are unable to attend the event at the scheduled time, please allow another member of the group a spot to attend.

Rules
Keep it chill and respectful. Friendly discussion is welcome; insults, hostility, or condescension are not.

This is not a dating or hookup event. Don’t pressure, flirt aggressively, or make unsolicited comments. Keep interactions respectful.

No harassment or boundary-pushing. If someone asks you to stop or seems uncomfortable, stop immediately.

Content should fit a mixed-gender adult space. No explicit sexual content, porn, or extreme gore.

No bigotry or hate speech. Zero tolerance for slurs, racism, sexism, or discrimination.

Avoid trauma dumping or heavy oversharing. Light venting is fine — this is not a therapy space.

No self-promotion without permission. Share interests, not ads.

Don’t stir drama or undermine events. Light moderation applies. Issues are handled calmly; repeated problems may result in removal.

Most importantly, use common sense. If it would make an in-person hangout awkward, don’t say it.
