Social Pie

Well okay, let's try it again. I've mostly given up on this pizza Meetup cause there just seems to be nil interest. Sometimes, I'll go a year or so between Meetups. For quite awhile, I was just doing it at the still newish Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom. About 4 or 5 times in a row so you can see how uninspired I was getting.

There was a Meetup at Serious Pizza in Deep Ellum when I was out of town in Florida a few months ago, but I don't even know how that went cause I haven't talked to sub-host Nestor since. I think one thing that might've confused people is that I was trying to fuse this with the other Meetup I organize, the Dallas Indie Film Meetup and make them within the same few hours of each other. But I won't bother with that now, I'll keep them separate.

It's kind of weird.....you would think that something as universal as a pizza Meetup would really go over big here, but people here just aren't into it. Charlie could never figure it out and he was the originator here when it was called the Plano Pizza Enthusiasts. I'm going to piggy-bank this with another dining Meetup I partially co-organize just to get more numbers. But come on out guys and gals. Sunday a week from today at 12:30.

I'm guessing this pizza is delish, but one unique thing is they contribute money from pizza sales to different causes. Let's see.......
