➡️ Tobiasz Heller: Implementing simple TCP Load Balancer in Go

Live coding session during which I will show how to build simple TCP load balancer. We will touch a little bit io and net packages from standard library and few concurrency patterns.

➡️ Wojciech Barczyński: Adding policies to your Golang Apps with Open Policy Agent

It might feel like chasing a rabbit to keep up with users’ requests for new configurations and policies. It is even more challenging if you build for power users. In the talk, I will show how to use the Open Policy Agent (OPA) for these scenarios, share our experience in Spacelift, and present how to integrate OPA into your Golang application.

➡️ Tobiasz- I have started my career building hardware-in-the-loop systems. Later I have switched to web development and Go. I like clean code, designing systems that works and simple solutions.

➡️ Wojciech - I am a VP of Engineering at Spacelift, a Golang developer, and a CloudNative practitioner. Spacelift offers collaborative management and a flexible orchestration platform for Infrastructure-as-a-Code. All our backend components are written in Golang, we use many CloudNative projects. We especially love Open Policy Agent (a good topic for the next talk). Before, I worked and led engineering projects at Codility (a platform for remote tech hiring in an unbiased way), Hypatos/SMACC (Fintech/ML automation tools and SaaS), and LykeHQ (fashion e-commerce). I am also an organizer of Golang Warsaw Meetup.
