Our table is usually near the vintage truck, which you can see in the window of the photo.

Grace Sack Lunches & 250 acts of INTERdependence!
To mark the 250th anniversary of the US Declaration of Independence on July 4, we will be packing 50 sack lunches on Sunday, July 5, and providing 50 envelopes with cash for those who receive services at Grace. This is our ethical action of INTERdependence. Please join us.
This extra action emerged when we asked Phil at Grace Solutions what we might do that would show our **inter**dependence with those served by Grace Solutions. It wasn't a bicycle tool box (few have bicycles) but rather a bit of cash, like $5. Thus, 50 envelopes with $5 each. 250 acts of interdependence. Phil plans to join us at this event.
While we will again make PB&J sandwiches and assemble sack lunches, including snack foods (individually wrapped), drinks, and fruit that the staff can hand out through the rest of the month, we will also be writing notes and enclosing a five dollar bill.
Phil plans to join us for this activity.
You can contribute in several ways: bring a five dollar bill or two (or more) to the event or bring food for the lunch sacks or write a personal note to accompany the cash or assemble the lunches. When we are done, we gather with our own PB&J sandwiches and enjoy each other's company as we eat the same meal we just packed in lunches for Grace, an act of solidarity.
The plan: Gather at 12:00 noon PST Sunday to make PB&J sandwiches and pack sack lunches with everything but the sandwiches and fresh fruit, which will be refrigerated overnight. Monday, the lunches will be delivered to Phil at the Grace parking lot.
Who can help, one way or another? If you can join the sandwich making at 12:00, RSVP and you will get the address through a meetup message. Want to contribute something to the lunches? RSVP and you will get details.
Please join us.
I look forward to seeing you Sunday, July 5 as we continue to support Grace Solutions with 250 acts of interdependence.
RSVP to get details for participating as well as the address.

Dinner & Street Music Fest in Los Altos Downtown!
Dear friends,
This evening has quietly become **one of my favorite moments every month** ✨
It’s when we slow down, gather around good food, share warm conversations, laugh, and feel that simple joy of being together.
We’ll meet at the **Los Altos food court** — an easy, relaxed place where no one needs to worry about reservations and everyone can choose exactly what they’re in the mood for. There’s a big bar with drinks and cocktails, cozy corners to chat, and plenty of space for us all 🍷
After dinner, we’ll take a gentle walk through **downtown Los Altos**, where live bands play on almost every corner 🎶
Some of us will listen, some might dance, some will sing along — and some will just smile and enjoy the atmosphere. Everything is welcome, exactly as you are.
To help us plan and keep the group running (Meetup & Zoom subscriptions), we ask for a **small $2 contribution**.
It’s simply a way of saying *“yes, I’m coming”* and keeping space for those who truly want to be there.
If you’re craving an evening that feels **easy, friendly, and human** — come join us.
We’d truly love to see you 💛
Warmly,

We're flexible on time so, stop on by when you can!
Backyard Happy Hour
**Trade the noise for something more meaningful.**
Skip the crowded bar and join us for a different kind of happy hour.
We'll gather in a backyard to slow down after the workday, share food and drinks, and enjoy a few screen-free hours together.
There is no networking agenda, no pressure to be "on," and no expectation that you leave having met everyone.
Instead, we hope you'll leave knowing someone a little better than when you arrived.
To help spark connection, we'll have a jar of thoughtful conversation prompts available but there's no script. Let the evening unfold naturally.
At Unplugged, we believe community isn't built in a single gathering. It's built through small, consistent acts of showing up for one another.
Before the evening ends, we'll invite everyone to take on a simple **Community Practice** for the month ahead. One small way to strengthen connection in your own neighborhood, workplace, or circle of friends.
When we gather again, we'll begin by sharing stories of what happened.
Because community isn't something we attend.
It's something we create together.
Whether you come with a friend or arrive on your own, you'll be warmly welcomed.
### Bring
* Your favorite drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
* A snack to share if you'd like
* A lawn chair if it makes you more comfortable
* Your phone tucked away
* A willingness to slow down and be present
Come for the conversation.
Leave with a Community Practice.
Return with a story.
Hope to see you there!
\~ Jenna
The Shared Table - Community Potluck
Good food has a way of bringing people together. Come share a meal, meet new people, and enjoy unhurried conversation.
Whether you're a longtime local or new to the area, this is a chance to slow down, meet interesting people, and enjoy a relaxed gathering in a welcoming home.
Bring a favorite dish, snack, or dessert to share (homemade or store-bought . . . no pressure!).
At Unplugged, we're all about putting phones down, pulling up a chair, and actually getting to know the people around us. The best conversations tend to happen when everyone’s present and there’s plenty of food to go around.
**What to bring:**
• A dish or drink to share
• Your curiosity and appetite
Come as you are. Leave with stories shared and connections made.
P.S. Friends/Partners are welcome. Please register them as a (+1) or have them register separately. Thank you!
Walk Together
***A Monthly Community Walk - by The Unplugged Collective***
Community isn't something we find. It's something we build.
Walk Together is a monthly gathering for people who believe stronger communities begin with simple, intentional acts of connection.
Each month, we'll gather to learn one another's names, reflect on a thoughtful community question, and head out for a relaxed walk. There is no networking agenda, no pressure to impress anyone, and no expectation that you leave having met everyone.
Instead, we hope you'll leave knowing one person a little better than when you arrived.
Every Walk Together gathering explores a different aspect of belonging, because community isn't built in a single afternoon. It's built through small, consistent practices over time.
At the end of each walk, we'll invite everyone to take on a simple **Community Practice** for the month ahead. It won't take much time, but it might change the way you experience your neighborhood.
Maybe you'll introduce yourself to someone you've never met, invite a friend to the following month's walk, or organize coffee with someone you met that day.
Perhaps you'll just simply return.
When we gather again, we'll begin by sharing stories of how those small acts shaped our month.
Because community isn't created by organizers.
It's created by people who choose to show up for one another.
Come walk with us.
Leave connected.
Return as someone helping build the kind of community we all want to live in. 💛

We have tools, materials, and volunteer experts to help you make any repairs you need on clothes, furniture, small appliances, bicycles, crockery, electronics, lamps, toys, and lots more. Our goal is to extend the life of everyday items and keep them out of the landfill.
How do I get something fixed?
Bring it to a Repair Café! Our volunteers love a challenge so if you can carry it in we’ll do our best to get it back in service for you. We have electronics experts who love to solder, woodworkers who love to glue, sewing experts who love to stitch, and bike mechanics who love to grease things.
Sometimes we can fix it, sometimes we can identify the problem and send you home with a plan, and sometimes it may be time to recycle an item. But, we’ll have a good time and know we are helping the environment by extending the life of the things we love.
Experienced tinkerer? Born organizer? Just want to learn? You can help, even if you’ve never used a screwdriver before you can make a difference.
Sign up and help us save the planet one repair at a time. We are always looking for people who can troubleshoot and repair, help organize events, or even work on this website. Want to learn how to repair? Come hang out and shadow a fixer at one of our events. Contact them at: info@RepairCafeSV.org
Students: ask about our apprentice program! We’ll pair you up with an experienced fixer who will help you build your troubleshooting skills.
Please, stop by the sewing machine area and say, "Hello" to me, Joy.

PASCA Monthly Volunteer Orientation and Training!!
**Join us for our volunteer orientation and training event with Plant and Soul California!**
Never volunteered with PASCA before? New to gardening and plants? We host this event on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 9am-12pm, for folks just like you. Training is followed up by a lunch featuring delicious meals with plants fresh from our gardens.
Orientation is required for new volunteers and highly recommended for volunteers that have been with us for a while. You will likely learn an array of new things about PASCA, including additional opportunities to volunteer and support our community!
We will tour our headquarters and eat-grow-learn center, ELSEE, as well as our regenerative organic farm, Hester. Participants will learn about the background and goals of our organization, as well as essential skills such as propagating and transplanting native plants, composting, and harvesting food. It will be a great opportunity to connect with fellow volunteers and learn more about our mission!
During the training, you will receive tea and some lovely snacks. At the end of the training, you will be treated to a delicious lunch made mostly from organic and California native food plants.
**Please make sure to sign up in advance so we know how many people we will need to feed!**
