*I&M Canal Hike Stratton State Park in Morris: 6, 8 or 10 mile options

Let's have some fun exploring!

This is not a beginner's hike as the pace will be vigorous. You are responsible for your own pace and ability to see yourself back to your vehicle should you break away from the group.

We will head West down the I & M canal and turn around at the 3 mile point to accommodate anyone preferring to complete 6 miles. We may venture off the canal path to see some sights of interest along the canal. We will then continue East on the canal towards Armstrong Rd. Total miles will be dependent on the groups preference, but I am intending to hike a total of 10 miles but there will be options for 6 miles and probably even 8 if you do not want to do 10.

Please bring:
Comfortable hiking/walking shoes
Wear wicking socks to avoid blisters
Plenty of drinking water, know your own needs but no less than 2 liters
Dress in layers according to the weather forecast
