Plant Baddies YYC is a welcoming, empowering community for women and femme-identifying folks in Calgary who are passionate about plant-based living and building genuine, soul-nourishing friendships. Whether you’re craving deep conversation over cruelty-free comfort food, a walk with like-minded baddies, or just someone who understands why you’d never eat any animal—this space is for you.
For those of you who know Badass Bitches YYC - this group is brought to you by the same organizer, who switched to plant-based eating a year and a half ago.
This group is about more than what’s on your plate. It’s about connection, healing, and shared values rooted in compassion—for animals, for the planet, and for each other. Whether you're long-time plant-based, plant-curious, or just tired of eating vegan food alone, you’ll find your people here.
We’re an inclusive group that values kindness, authenticity, and respect. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating a space where everyone feels safe, seen, and supported.
To help keep our space amazing, we follow a few simple guidelines:

Event types: Vegan food meetups, scenic walks, coffee dates, potlucks, community events, and anything else we dream up together!
A note from the organizer: I’ve been lucky to have incredibly supportive women in my life who support my transition into a plant-based life, but I want to build a community and create space for myself and others who seeking like minded people. If you love animals, live plant-based (or are curious), and want to connect with fierce, kind, thoughtful women—you belong here.
