Morning Hike and Brunch at Simply Green Cafe

Let's meetup with friends for an optional morning hike followed by brunch at a nearby local favorite vegan cafe, Simply Green Cafe in Ramsey. The restaurant is vegan and also offers gluten free options.
If you're not interested in the hike, no problem, just meet us at the restaurant at 11:00 a.m.

John will be leading us on this hike prior to brunch at Simply Green. We will meet at 9:25 at Ramapo Valley County Reservation in Mahwah, NJ and the hike should take approximately 50 minutes. It should come up on your GPS if you put in "RAMAPO VALLEY COUNTY RESERVATION, MAHWAH, NJ". Once in the parking lot, walk towards the yellow building where the restrooms are. We can meet near there. The trail starts next to the parking lot. The trail is approximately 10 minutes from the restaurant.

Please wear appropriate attire for the hike. The trail is unpaved and rocky consisting of mostly small rocks/pebbles, with some pot-holes along the way. It's half level-ground and half an incline/decline walk, but not too difficult unless someone has knee or other problems. If someone has issues with walking on unpaved paths or has difficulty walking up a few flights of stairs then this walk might prove to be challenging, otherwise it's a nice walk.

Inclement weather will cancel the walk but not the restaurant. If you have any questions, please DM me.
