What we’re about
Welcome! This group encourages a lifestyle of plant-based eating. It is for the animal activists down to the "I'm just curious" and everyone in between. Events will include exploring St Louis area restaurants (on both the MO and IL sides) that cater to plant-based diners, gathering for good conversations and fun. And, it's not always about just eating! Fun event ideas include a movie at the Alamo (vegan options delivered to your seat) with a discussion after in the bar, Trivia Night at Mile 9 Food Truck Park, Boardgame night, and Happy Hour at Handlebar on $5 (vegan) pizza night. We will also be supporting START (St Louis Animal Rights Team) events such as VegFest and their annual Thanksgiving dinner. We are open to your suggestion for events as well as members becoming event organizers and hosting their own events within the group parameters.
Note: Events may be held at restaurants, venues, and members' homes that may not support every member's dietary requirements or moral beliefs. It is up to each individual member to decide if the event is meant for you. All members' viewpoints will be respected by all members at all times.
