Vegan Potluck Dinner -- Colorado Theme
Details
Vegan & Gluten-Free Potluck at My House 🌱
Let’s gather for a vegan, gluten-free potluck at my home.
This time it will be a Colorado theme. You're thinking...what does that even mean? I'm working on perfecting my Cornmeal Barbecue waffles because I think of corn as a long-time Colorado food. What food can you bring that says "Colorado" to you? Think about historical foods (Native American, Hispanic, or what the settlers ate) or your current faves (what you love to eat when you go skiing, hiking, or out for dinner in Colorado). I think we'll end up with a good mix of locally grown foods and some interesting stories behind what we choose!
I believe social connection and healthy food are central to a good life, and I enjoy supporting people who are eating—or exploring—plant-based food. So, come eat with me!
Our household is vegan and gluten-free, so I ask that all dishes be as well. We also abstain from alcohol and drugs, so please leave those at home. Shoes are removed indoors (slippers welcome). We have two dogs and two cats.
What to bring:
Salad, dessert, entrée, vegetable side, or a special non-alcoholic drink. If you’re unsure what to bring, drinks are almost always helpful. If you’re coming straight from work, you are welcome to put something together here. Please bring a list of ingredients or a recipe printout (I have a printer if needed).
Attendance & logistics:
Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance so someone else can attend. Group policy: members who miss two events without RSVPing may be removed from the group.
The address will be sent to confirmed attendees. Up to three cars may park in the driveway if parked efficiently.
Supporting the group:
A reminder to donate for a yearly meetup membership ($10 suggested) if you’re able. These contributions help cover Meetup fees, and hosting supplies, to make gatherings like this possible—thank you for supporting the group.
