Halloween Vegan Potluck and Games

Join us on Friday, October 30, for a Halloween-themed vegan and gluten-free potluck at my home! Costumes are welcome but completely optional, as are games after dinner.

I believe social connection and healthy food are central to a good life, and I enjoy bringing people together around delicious plant-based food. Whether you're vegan or just exploring plant-based eating, come eat with us!

🎃 Halloween Fun

Feel free to dress up or bring a Halloween-inspired dish! Neither is required. After dinner, we'll have an optional game table. We have some games, but bring a favorite group game if you'd like.

🥗 What to Bring — Two Options!

• Bring a dish: Salad, dessert, entrée, vegetable side, or special non-alcoholic drink.
• Let me take care of the food: If you're short on time or simply don't enjoy cooking, contribute $15 and I'll prepare or provide a potluck dish on your behalf. Please let me know at least 48 hours in advance.

If you're coming straight from work, you're also welcome to put something together in my kitchen.

Please bring a list of ingredients or a recipe printout so everyone knows what's in the food. I have a printer if needed.

🏡 A Few Household Details

Our household is vegan and gluten-free, so all dishes must be both. We also abstain from alcohol and drugs, so please leave those at home.

Shoes are removed indoors (slippers welcome). We have two dogs and one cat.

📍 Attendance & Logistics

Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance so someone else can attend.

Group policy: Members who miss two events without RSVPing may be removed from the group.

The address will be sent to confirmed attendees. Up to three cars may park in the driveway if parked efficiently.

💚 The Future of Our Meetup Group

Our Meetup membership renews November 3 at a cost of $300 per year. We're currently considering whether to continue the group and would love to hear your thoughts about its future.

We'll have an opportunity to chat about this at the potluck. Your participation and ideas are appreciated!
