Making Movements: Race & Gender in Plant-Based Nutrition

Hosted By
Vivian .

Details
Eating whole plant foods is an action that can unite us across many lines of difference and make strides toward collective liberation of all oppressed beings.
Join this conversation with PPMNY board member Eloisa Trinidad and Black VegFest leaders Omowale Adewale and LoriKim Alexander, catalysts of social justice movements. We'll discuss what plant-based nutrition can do for the health and well-being of Black, Brown, and QTBIPOC (Queer & Trans Black Indigenous People of Color) communities; being allies in health; and what an intersectional approach to food and health can look like in practice.
