Join Certified Personal Trainer Nina Shantel for a group strength workout at Hilltop Community Park and Recreation Center!
Get ready to have fun sweating, while strengthening your muscles, and burning off bodyfat. Coach Nina will lead the way to each station around the Hilltop park, for specific strength and stretching exercises on the park equipment, in addition to an optional walking or sprinting competition. This in-person event is perfect for all fitness levels, so whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, come join us for an energizing workout session in the beautiful outdoors at Hilltop Park.
What should I bring?
Wear sunscreen, a hat and closed-toe shoes. Bring ice water to drink. If you have weight-lifting gloves, bring those too, which will make it more comfortable when holding onto the bars, hoops and park equipment (all exercises are optional and easier variations will be shown).
Will there be cardio?
Yes, there will be cardio exercises. Attendees can choose from walking, jogging or joining in a sprint competition.
Will we be walking around the park?
Yes, we will be walking around the park to each fitness station to perform different exercises.
Will there be snacks afterward?
Yes, Tracy of Tracy's REAL Foods will be on hand with some organic, vegan, healthy, gluten-free post-workout snacks!
