What we're about

Meet awesome people, make friends, have fun, and do things! We embrace EVERYONE - from those curious about healthy lifestyles, ethics, the environment, and plant-based lifestyles, to those who already live the life, and everyone in between.

Help make this meetup even better by hosting events, and letting the organizers know about all the awesome events going on in Southern Arizona!

TAKE OUT ONLY - Veggie Monthly Dinner & Conversation at Lovin' Spoonfuls

* Note: until the restaurant is open for indoor dining, this meetup announcement is for take-out only. Call ahead at[masked] to place your order. If there is interest in adding a Zoom online video chat, we can look into adding that; just let me know of your interest. * *** Original Description *** Feel free to arrive well after 6:30 so that we don't overwhelm the staff all at once, especially when there is a large expected turn-out. This meetup repeats on the fourth Tuesday of every month. This monthly meetup has been running for over a decade, and it is always well attended. Many of the regulars have found good friends through this event, and new people are always showing up, forming new friendships, and sometimes becoming regulars. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month. People generally arrive between 6:30 and 7:30 pm. It is a casual dinner and conversation meetup, open to everyone (bring your friends). Tables are reserved along the wall to the left. It is a full-service restaurant; order at the table. The food is FANTASTIC! Lovin' Spoonfuls is Tucson's first all vegan restaurant, and vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores all rave about the food. If you have never tried it before, you are in for a treat! There are so many wonderful dishes on the menu that you could come to this event for years and never have the same dish twice! Sometimes, if there is a large turn-out between the meetup and other patrons, there may not be enough seating in the restaurant. We have to cap this to 25, so that also means RSVPs count. Don't RSVP unless you are going, and if you later change your mind, change your RSVP to "no" so someone else can go. Abusing this by RVSPing "yes" and not showing can lead to a ban from other meetup events in the future. Sorry to be strict, but it is necessary so everyone can benefit. We hope to see you soon!
