What we’re about

🎹☕ Art, Community & Global Impact
Saturday, July 19th · 2:00 PM
@ Corde Coffee Coutance · Geneva - rue Claudine-Levet 7, 1201

Come sip, connect, and be inspired.

Join us for an energizing afternoon with internationally acclaimed environmental artist Benjamin Von Wong, who’s creating The Thinker’s Burden — a monumental public art installation being built for the Global Plastics Treaty negotiations this August at the Place des Nations.

This powerful 6-meter-tall sculpture will be seen by delegates from 193 countries as they gather to negotiate one of the most significant environmental agreements of our time.

But this project is about more than just art. It’s a community-powered call to action — a way for everyday citizens to contribute to something that can shift hearts, minds, and policy on a global scale.

✹ What to expect:
‱ 30 min – Meet & greet with eco-minded folks over delicious Corde coffee
‱ 20 min – Inspiring talk from Ben on how art and community can influence global decisions
‱ 10 min – Q&A and ways to get involved

You’ll learn how to contribute plastics to the installation, join volunteer efforts, and become part of a movement that’s pushing for a strong, legally binding, and ambitious Global Plastics Treaty.
