Dagger 101

This is a hybrid event. You are welcome to join at the Staytuned LLP office or join virtually. When you RSVP, you will get a link to Zoom if you choose the virtual option.

During the meetup, we will have a thread started in the Dagger general channel. Please join the Discord to participate in virtual questions.

We can’t wait for our first-ever Dagger Ahmedabad & GIFT City Meetup! Dagger is a powerful, programmable open source CI/CD engine that runs your pipelines in containers — pre-push on your local machine and/or post-push in CI.

Some of the local Daggernauts from the Staytuned LLP team will be hosting this virtual Dagger meetup to talk about various pain points that every platform engineering hits, and how Dagger can help solve them.

One of Dagger’s very own, Vikram Vaswani, will be joining to provide a Dagger overview and answer any questions that you have!

Since this is our first meetup in the area, we will start by teaching the basics of Dagger with real-world examples you can easily take back to your team and implement quickly.

• Talk 1: Into Daggerverse by Vikram Vaswani, Developer Advocate, Dagger
  This talk will teach the basics of Dagger. This includes live demos that show how easy it is to implement the basics yourself. The goal is to create a clear understanding of Dagger.
• Talk 2: Dagger in practice, Aditi Shah, Software Engineer, Staytuned LLP
  In the second talk, Aditi shows how they were able to develop pipelines more efficiently with the help of Dagger. This creates an understanding of the application of Dagger in practice.
