Build high-performing platform teams: a practical guide with real-world examples

Details

In today's age, platform teams are playing an increasingly critical role in the success of organizations. These teams are responsible for developing and maintaining the platforms that enable businesses to innovate, grow, and compete effectively. However, building a high-performing platform team is not easy.

In this talk, we will discuss the key principles and practices for building high-performing platform teams. We’ll include a real-world example from a public sector organization to illustrate how we applied them in practice.

Key takeaways:

  • The importance of ownership, having a well-defined platform mission and a great platform name!
  • How to create a team culture of autonomy, mastery, and purpose.
  • Practical strategies for empowering teams to solve problems, not just implement solutions.
  • Practical tools and ideas to explore your platform’s ecosystem including collaboration with main consumers (developers).
  • How to create feedback loops and measure the success of your platform team.

After a 30-minute talk there’ll be a 15-minute Q&A, for which we encourage you to submit questions in advance.
A webinar recording and related materials will be shared with all attendees after the event.
