Platform therapy: Start with Minimum Viable Platforms (MVP)

Details

Most platform engineering challenges aren’t technical problems. They're people's problems. In this session, Mallory will walk you through how to build a Minimum Viable Platform (MVP) by focusing on team needs, not just tools or architecture.

In one real-world example, a large enterprise platform team spent three full days with our trainer, Mallory, aligning on a shared platform vision and resolving stakeholder conflicts. By the end, they had a clear MVP and a plan to advocate for it across teams. This session draws from lessons like these to help you focus on what really matters. During this webinar, you’ll learn:

  • How to define a simple starting point for your platform
  • How to show early value using metrics and fulfilling real team needs
  • How to show platform impact early in order to get support from leadership

After a 30-minute talk there’ll be a 15-minute Q&A, for which we encourage you to submit questions in advance.
A webinar recording and related materials will be shared with all attendees after the event.
