This Sunday: Shared Memories of StoicDan - Finding Our Way

StoicDan has touched us all with his love, compassion, humanity and philosophical curiosity. In his absence, I cannot think of anyone who will be able to fill Dan's giant-size, stoic shoes; but, I am sure that his memory will forever be in our hearts and minds as we continue to contemplate his thoughtfully supportive messages.

So, as we gather to celebrate our personal memories of StoicDan and explore what will surely become his enduring legacy, we must find our way without him, taking with us the wisdom and passion that he so lovingly shared with us, to refresh Dan's foundation of love, wisdom, hope and joy. Join the quest to help us find our way forward.

The Walled Garden Philosophical Society - Mar 17, 2022 [1:17:16]
The Walled Garden is a podcast and community of independent philosophers and seekers who are dedicated to the pursuit of truth, wisdom, virtue, and the divine. Led by Australian poet, philosopher, and musician Simon Drew, American philosopher, author, and speaker Sharon Lebell, and British philosopher and researcher Kai Whiting, The Walled Garden hosts regular live events and meetups with fascinating philosophers, theologians, artists, leaders, and seekers who can teach us all about how to live a flourishing existence.
About Our Guest: StoicDan is the organizer of 6 philosophy meetups, including Orlando Stoics, which is the third-largest Stoic group in North America (7 years old, with over 1700 members). He is also a public speaker on Stoicism, Minimalism, and American Transcendentalism, and he often connects these topics with civil discourse, common ground, and women in philosophy. He’s presented at 5 Stoicon conferences (2017 Toronto, 2018 London, 2019 Athens, and 2020 / 2021 online) and has interviewed over a dozen Stoic scholars for the Stoic Fellowship quarterly newsletter.
