What's the best way to learn how to play Scrabble like a pro? Well, it's to play with the Pros!
Members of the Scottish Scrabble Association and Edinburgh Scrabble Club are offering a fun and interactive evening, where you can play Scrabble against friends and strangers, whilst receiving tips and support from players who have featured in Local Tournaments, UK Championships and World Championships.
Timetable for the evening shown below. It doesn't matter if you have never played the game before or if you are continually frustrated not winning!
There is no charge for this event!
7pm - 7:15pm Welcome, drinks, sort pairings etc and some initial tips.
7:15 to 8:30pm - Game time
8:30pm to 8:45pm - Drinks game and top up.
8:50pm to 9:45pm - Consensus game between two pros, with each move and rack being talked through and described!
9:45pm to 10pm - Close.
