Scrabble with the Pros: Intro night

Be the envy of all your friends at games nights and the bane of your families at Christmas. Come and spend a relaxing evening playing Scrabble alongside some tips and tricks being shown to you by your hosts, members of Edinburgh Scrabble Club!

We have played in UK Championships and World Championships. We have played and beaten UK and world Champions. We know a trick or two and would love to share our enthusiasm for the game with you in a relaxed setting!

7pm: Arrive, register and sort pairs. Into given.
7:15pm - Game time! Play the game with some tips and tricks from the professionals! There are at least three of us on hand to steal info from!
8:45pm - Time to top up those drinks and have a breather!
9pm to 10pm - Take part in a consensus game as two of the three pros take on each other, with their advice to you and your input to them, with live commentary on what they are doing and why.

The venue has a bar that is able to serve guests who are not staying until 10pm. There are also cafe-style refreshments available.
